About Your Provider
Monét Ince-Amara, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing thoughtful, whole-person mental health care for teens, adults, and families. Her approach is rooted in the belief that mental health is shaped by more than symptoms alone—it reflects the complex interaction between biology, life experiences, environment, and daily habits. With a background in emergency medicine, inpatient behavioral health, and forensic nursing as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), Monét brings a depth of clinical experience to her work. She has cared for individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives, which has shaped her calm, grounded, and compassionate presence as a provider. Through her work at Mendem Integrative Psychiatry, Monét integrates evidence-based medication management with lifestyle psychiatry and functional insights. She partners closely with patients to understand the root contributors to their symptoms, whether related to stress, sleep, nutrition, trauma, or hormonal and environmental factors. Her goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but to help patients build sustainable mental wellness over time. Monét has a strong interest in the mental health of the family unit, recognizing that individual well-being is deeply connected to relational dynamics, parenting, and the overall home environment. She works with women, men, teens, and families, creating a collaborative and supportive space that considers each person within the context of their relationships and daily life. She has a special focus on supporting women navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the emotional demands of motherhood, while also providing care for men and adolescents seeking a more comprehensive and integrative approach to their mental health. Her care philosophy centers on education, engagement, and empowerment—ensuring that each patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their treatment plan. Whether through traditional psychiatric care, integrative approaches, or medication tapering support, Monét is committed to helping patients move toward a more balanced and meaningful life.

Integrating Faith into Care
For patients who desire it, faith and spirituality can be meaningfully integrated into the care process. My personal faith is rooted in a Christian (non-denominational) belief system; however, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from a wide range of religious and spiritual backgrounds, including Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Quaker, Unitarian, Mormon, Jehovah’s Witness, and Seventh-day Adventist traditions, as well as those who practice other forms of spirituality.
Care is always guided by your individual beliefs, values, and preferences. Whether faith plays a central role in your life or not, you are welcomed with respect and without judgment.
This is a space where individuals of all backgrounds are supported—regardless of religion, ethnicity, political beliefs, sexual orientation, or identity. My goal is to provide care that is thoughtful, inclusive, and aligned with who you are, while integrating evidence-based psychiatric, lifestyle, and whole-person approaches to support your mental health.
