At Mendem, we understand that eating disorders are complex. They often intersect with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, trauma, ADHD, family stress, and low self-esteem. Treatment should reflect that complexity.

A comprehensive assessment of your symptoms, eating patterns, mental health history, stressors, and treatment needs.

Medication Management

When appropriate, medication may help address co-occurring anxiety, depression, obsessive thinking, mood instability, or other psychiatric symptoms.

 

Supportive Psychotherapy

We provide supportive, compassionate care that helps patients better understand patterns, build insight, and strengthen emotional coping.

Lifestyle and Functional Psychiatry Integration

When clinically appropriate, we may explore sleep, stress, nutrition patterns, micronutrient concerns, and other lifestyle factors that affect mental health.

 

Collaborative Care

Eating disorder care is often most effective when it includes a team. When needed, we encourage coordination with therapists, dietitians, pediatricians, primary care providers, and higher levels of care.

Our goal is not to introduce more rules or rigidity around food or exercise. Instead, we focus on restoring balance in a way that feels supportive, flexible, and sustainable.
